The New Acropolis Museum

My first visit to the New Acropolis Museum left me the finest impressions. I spent the whole day there which was very beneficial and inspiring.

I also had lunch at the museum's restaurant...

...and bought some gifts from the museum's shop just to remember this great day.

Home decoration

and replicas of ancient toys for my nieces

I spent a lot of time in The Archaic and The Parthenon Gallery. I was really impressed by the minimalistic lines of ancient Greek art. I feel new projects inspired by this visit coming into my mind...

I like the designs in all the photos. The architecture of the building, the abstract figures, the food of course (looks very healthy) :-)

Love the architecture... not the usual look of museums. It looks like a cool place to visit. xoxo

Ήμουν Αθήνα για ένα σ/κ το Φεβρουάριο, τότε ήταν που πήγα στο μουσείο. Θέλω τόσο να ξαναπάω, πραγματικά εντυπωσιάστηκα.

Oooh lovely museum and lovely purchases too! I love museum coffee shops and gift shop a lot. So cool that you went to Birmingham University too. What did you study?

the museum is amazing, but i am talking about its architecture not about all the missing marbels of parthenon. it is a big tragedy...looking the plaster next to our history. it makes me sad, really.
